2009 Reunions

June 5-7, 2009
The Reunion Committee and the U.Va. Alumni Association are planning reunions for the Classes of 1964, 1969, 1974, 1979, 1984, 1989, 1994, 1999, and 2004. Visit the U.Va. If you are a School of Nursing graduate from any of these years, we hope that you will make plans to join us for our annual Reunions Luncheon on Saturday, June 6, 2009.  Tours will also be available of the new Claude Moore Nursing Education Building, centers in McLeod Hall, and McKim Hall.

Luncheon location:  McLeod Hall Patio   (Rain location:  McLeod Hall 1st floor)

In addition, a Sunday brunch will be held on June 7 from 9:30 - 11 a.m. in the Pavilion VIII Garden.  (Rain location:  Claude Moore Nursing Education Building, 1st floor.)

In addition, School of Nursing faculty and alumni will be participating in a number of the seminars offered by the Alumni Association during the weekend.

Thomas Jefferson Society Reunion

Nearly 140 alumnae and guests attended the School of Nursing's Thomas Jefferson Society luncheon on  May 13, 2009.  Congratulations to the Class of 1959, who celebrated their 50th reunion with a grand achievement: fully endowing the Anne Pollok Hemmings Clinical Excellence Fund at $100,000 after a decade long fundraising effort.  Each member of the class received a certificate from the School of Nursing Alumni Assocation welcoming them into the T.
