Meet Lynn.

Jigsaw puzzle lover. Master's in education student and soon-to-be Mary Baldwin College graduate and former boutique store manager. Vegetable gardener and mom/stepmom to four kids. Student confidant who's comfortable with long pauses, tears, secrets, and silence. Always has Tootsie Pops and tissues on her desk. Asker of open-ended questions. Senior BSN program manager who works to keep undergraduate students and the faculty who teach them supported and on track.

"The number of personal obligations and responsibilities—family, work, financial obligations—many students have . . . and they're still showing up every day for class and clinicals. That resilience is amazing. They've also taught me to really listen, and to just be patient."
