Thanks to Funded Nurse Scientists, School Earns Best NIH Ranking Since 2014
After a fruitful funding year in both 2021 and 2022 during which UVA School of Nursing research faculty earned $3.5 million in externally funded grants, the School’s National Institutes of Health ranking leapt ten spots to No. 33 in the nation, its best showing since 2014 when the Blue Ridge Institute for Medical Research began compiling such data.
