Meet Kim.

Richmond's champion multitasker. Loves to draw, paint, sew, and do photography. Mom to three kids under three (Oliver, Madeline, and Emmet). UVA doctoral student and the primary admissions and recruiter for the School's RN to BSN, its ABSN, and its three-year transfer program.

"I can relate to a lot of our non-traditional students who are juggling work, school, and family responsibilities. I have three children under three and work full-time while taking classes. It’s hard, but it can be done!"

WHY CHOOSE UVA SCHOOL OF NURSING?

"We have so many different pathways for students who want to become nurses: there really is something for everybody. I work with prospective transfer students and love telling them about all we offer.

It's also a huge benefit that our programs are direct entry. Plus, classes are small and taught by world-class faculty members. The icing on the cake is that our alumni are guaranteed admission to our nursing graduate programs so they can keep growing in their field. And we have LOTS who decide to return."
