Job opportunities and professional growth in neonatal and pediatric nursing is projected to be strong, and responding to demand, UVA now offers two new certificate programs for NNPs and PNP-ACs.
UVA nursing now offers a Neonatal NP certificate and a Pediatric-Acute Care NP certificate for advanced practice nurses looking to augment their nursing skills and specialize in caring for vulnerable infants and young children.
Applicants must be advanced practice nurses who are licensed in or are eligible for a license in the state of Virginia.

Please note: For the NNP certificate program, applicants must have two years of relevant experience working in a NICU in accordance with NANN guidelines.
